Economic Development Authority

The Buena Vista Economic Development Authority (EDA) is governed by a seven member board, appointed by the City Council. Each member serves a four-year term and is a resident of the City, deeply rooted in the community they serve. The EDA is empowered to drive economic development through various avenues including strategic property management, financial authority, and collaborative governance.

The EDA convenes annually on the first Monday of May for officer appointments and otherwise meet on an as needed basis.
