Human Resources

The City of Buena Vista Human Resources office serves general government and the constitutional employees.  With approximately 114 full and part-time personnel, the function of the Human Resources office is to manage benefits and payroll, advertise and post available positions, accept applications, conduct employee orientation and exit interviews, handle worker’s compensation claims, administer employee training workshops/seminars, handle the tuition reimbursement program, and manage retirement and disability retirement.
