    🚨 Join us in Downtown BV on December 1st for our annual Christmas Parade 🎄The parade starts at 23rd Street of Magnolia at 7:00PM. 🎅 The parade ends at 17th Street of Magnolia. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This year’s theme is “Hometown Christmas” 🚗🚶‍Interested in being in the parade?   • City Offices Closed – Christmas Holiday

    City of Buena Vista offices will be closed Friday, December 23rd, and Monday, December 26th in observance of the Christmas Holiday. Business Refuse Collection will be unchanged. Residential refuse collection will be delayed by one day on the week of December 26th (i.e. Monday collection will take place on Tuesday and so on).

    City of Buena Vista offices will be closed Monday, January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Residential refuse collection will be delayed by one day (i.e. Monday collection will take place on Tuesday, etc.). Business Refuse Collection will be unchanged.

  • Rescheduled Finance Committee Meeting

    Members of the Buena Vista Finance Committee will meet in Council Chambers, 2039 Sycamore Avenue, at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17th. This meeting is rescheduled from Tuesday, January 10th. For questions, please call 540-261-8601
